Ahmed works closely with power infrastructure developers to provide insight into transmission and distribution system capabilities, operational limitations, market opportunities, and beneficial upgrade paths. He advises clients on wholesale market dynamics in PJM, MISO, NYISO, and ISO New England, including optimization of the power system, integration of renewable energy and energy storage projects, and prospecting analysis and interconnection feasibility assessments for new projects. He performs steady state and dynamic power system analysis, power system reliability and resilience assessments, and risk-based transmission planning.
